This custom wedding invitation was designed for a cross-cultural couple — the groom from Iowa, USA, and the bride from Tehran, Iran. Drawing inspiration from traditional Persian carpet motifs, the design is rendered in a deep Persian red, symbolizing love and heritage. Framing the composition are personalized elements: zodiac signs, city symbols, Iowa’s cornfields and state bird (the goldfinch), and Tehran’s sparrows and world-renowned saffron. A note on the reverse side directs guests to a curated digital album of the couple’s photos and videos, offering an elegant blend of tradition and modern storytelling.
